The Opportunity
As an Area Sales Manager for the Eastern Region, you will drive the achievement of sales targets across assigned dealer zones by developing and maintaining strong relationships with our dealer network.
Key Responsibilities
- Train, develop and motivate Dealership team members to achieve and exceed set targets and market objectives.
- Ensure Dealer standards and development is in line with the terms and conditions of the Dealer agreement, and is being met as per the guideline provided by HMCA.
- Develop and implement business plans and marketing strategies to ensure profitability across the Dealer network.
- Maintain strong communication lines and Dealer relationships through consistent Dealer visits.
- Provide feedback to the Regional Senior Manager on Dealer / zone performance, market insights and competitor best practices.
- Investigate areas of opportunities, develop plans in conjunction with the Dealership, and execute on the plans.
- Ensure that set targets are achieved on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, including secondary KPI operational targets.
- Liaise with the HMCA Dealer network, external agencies and Regional staff in conjunction with the key responsibilities of the role.
- Initiate proactive feedback to Sales Management and other relevant HMCA and HMC staff on any and all matters that might affect the Dealer network.
- Ensure that stock availability is being managed and monitored accordingly.
- Ensure that the Dealership has plans in place to manage aged stock, oversupply issues, sales and marketing and the showroom display.

- Strong attention to detail, a focus on accuracy and a continuous sales mindset.
- High energy and the urge to develop your skills. You thrive in a disciplined and structured sales environment.
- The ability to have open discussions, influence decision making processes and negotiate with dealers.
- Strong reporting skills with the ability to use data to support your decisions and strategies.
- You must have a Full Drivers License and flexibility to travel for this role.
