The Opportunity
The Business Optimisation Specialist actively participates in dealer assurance, risk and business optimisation initiatives. This role supports HMCA’s processes & controls to be consistent, streamlined and aligned with overall business objectives with emphasis placed on the delivery of high-quality, data-driven outcomes.
Dealer Assurance
- Undertake transactional and expenditure reviews, dealership vehicle sales audits including the review andinterpretation of contracts, invoices and incentive payment documentation to establish the extent of policyconformance, expenditure leakage, causal factors and remedial requirements.
- Apply disciplined audit, risk management and governance methodologies to prepare audit workpapers, draftaudit reports and assist with managing audit findings and action plans.
- Support the development and management of the BPI Audit data model.
Business Assurance
- Support the delivery and continuous improvement of HMCA Risk Management Framework, including VehicleSales Audits, Risk-Based Process Reviews, and Certification Programs.
- Support governance committees through meeting administration, action tracking and reporting.
- Identify, assess, escalate and monitor operational risks, ensuring effective mitigation strategies and controlsare implemented.
Business Optimisation
- Actively participate in prioritised process improvement initiatives from initiation through to completion,applying fit for purpose process improvement methodologies to achieve consistent outcomes.
- Provide value-adding inputs to facilitate timely and successful completion of assigned initiatives, ensuringbusiness problems and opportunities are solved sustainably and in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Support the HMCA ISO 9001 QMS program and identify opportunities for streamlining processes andworkflows.
- Reporting and Transparency
- Provide timely and effective reporting across dealer assurance, risk management and business optimisation activities, ensuring stakeholder groups are aware of performance, status and key recommendations.
- Create and present meaningful reports and documentation, compiling review findings accurately in the agreed format including associated reporting outputs.
- Appropriately escalate identified risks and issues in accordance with applicable HMCA policies and procedures.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders, dealerships, subsidiaries and external service providers.
- Facilitate collaboration across business functions to achieve successful implementation of improvement initiatives.
About You
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in assurance-related functions including process improvement or business analysis roles.
- Automotive industry experience desirable but not mandatory.
- Exposure to the operational context of fast-paced, dynamic, global / nation-wide organisations will be highly valued.
