The Opportunity
As the Demand Planning Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in keeping Hyundai’s vehicle supply moving, connecting HMCA with Global HMC and overseas manufacturing plants to ensure the right vehicles are ordered, built, shipped, and delivered at the right time.
You’ll be at the centre of production planning and supply coordination, helping drive volume outcomes, support financial objectives, and respond to changing market conditions. Working closely with teams across Sales, Product Planning, Marketing, Finance, Aftersales and our regional network, you’ll turn data and insights into meaningful recommendations that support smarter business decisions and a stronger customer outcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly Production Order and ensure timely order submission
- Liaise with HMC and global manufacturing plants regarding production allocation, SOP/EOP timing
- Analyse demand, stock levels, sales forecasts, backorders, and stock-in-pipeline to identify risks and opportunities
- Prepare and review production order to maintain healthy stock levels across all regions
- Lead Stock and Sales Report update based on production forecasts, shipping and arrival forecast.
- Review and improve Production Order processes, including VFOS and Fleet orders and related analysis reports
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate production timing, volume projections, and data management
- Support product launches, end of life planning, tactical inventory corrections
- Work with external partners including HMC, manufacturing plants and industry bodies
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Strong analytical and forecasting capability
- Experience in demand planning, supply chain, inventory management, logistics, or a related field is highly desirable
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive approach to identifying process improvements and Demand planning and Supply Chain efficiencies
- Experience using SAP or vehicle ordering systems will be highly regarded
- Automotive industry experience will be advantageous
