The Opportunity
As the ICT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing Level 2 end-user and endpoint support across HMCA and GMAu. This includes assisting staff with technical issues, troubleshooting device and application problems, and ensuring users can work effectively with minimal disruption. Additionally, you will manage incidents and service requests from initiation through to resolution, support user access and device lifecycle processes, and help maintain secure and reliable ICT services across the organisation. You will also play a key role in supporting security controls and escalating issues to the infrastructure and security teams where required, ensuring that all ICT operations remain compliant, stable and well-coordinated.
This is a Full-Time Fixed Term Contract, for a duration of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 technical support with hardware, software and cloud services for HMCA and GMA clients and staff.
- Diagnose and resolve incidents and service requests within SLA targets.
- Escalate unresolved issues to Level 3 support or the ICT Infrastructure teams.
- Manage user onboarding, offboarding, and access changes.
- Provision and deprovision accounts based on least privilege principles.
- Support password resets, Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) setup, and access requests.
- Deploy, configure, and support laptops, mobile devices, and operating systems.
- Support endpoint protection, MFA, and identity security controls.
- Record all incidents, requests, and resolutions in the ITSM system (Zendesk).
- Contribute to process improvement, automation, and service quality.
About you
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology.
- 3–5 years’ experience in IT support or end-user computing.
- Experience supporting Windows, Microsoft 365, and mobile devices.
- Experience with Active Directory, MFA, and user access management.
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. Zendesk or similar).
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management desirable.
- Experience in SLA-driven environments desirable.
