The Opportunity
As a Product Marketing Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the planning, development and execution of launches, campaigns and key initiatives across both Hyundai and Genesis portfolios.
Reporting to the Brand & Product Marketing Manager, you will be deeply involved in the day‑to‑day running of initiatives including shaping project direction, coordinating fast‑moving activity and keeping all parts progressing with clarity, alignment and momentum.
You will help bring ideas to life, driving impactful marketing outcomes that contribute directly to HMCA’s broader business objectives.
This is a Parental Leave Cover Contract, lasting until May 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the planning, creation and delivery of integrated briefs across the Hyundai and Genesis portfolios, supporting new model launches, product initiatives, brand campaigns and other projects, from end to end with the support of the Brand and Product Marketing Manager.
- Collaborate and align with departments such as Product Planning, GTM and Sales, to identify key insights, audiences, competitors, and product Unique Selling Proposition (USPs) to develop effective product positioning and messaging.
- Ensure product and brand information is current and accurate across the website and marketing materials, according to model year updates, specification changes and initiatives, whilst serving the wider business as a key source of expertise to maintain consistency across channels and teams.
- Deliver clear and inspiring agency briefings and manage relationships across Accounts, Creative, Media, Digital and Social agency partners, to deliver on HMCA business outcomes.
- Provide logistical support for all campaigns, smoothly juggling moving parts and collaborating with internal teams, agency partners and suppliers to make every asset come to life flawlessly.
- Coordinate internal and management feedback on agency outputs including strategy, creative, media and production, ensuring alignment with the brief and business objectives and prepare informed recommendations for approval.
- Champion the internal communication of marketing initiatives in channels such as Internal Meetings, Bulletins, C-Suite meetings, Regional/Dealer forums, ensuring stakeholders and wider organisation are informed, aligned and engaged.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across HMCA, including but not limited to Marketing, Product Planning, GTM, Sales, Legal, Finance, Aftersales, Technical, Workshop, Training, P&C and senior leaders to ensure alignment on product and marketing communications.
- Support budget management for assigned initiatives by helping track allocations, monitoring spends, ensuring agencies stay aligned with approved budgets.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent.
- 3–5 years’ experience in marketing communications within a corporate or agency setting, with exposure to fast‑moving, multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Exceptionally organised multi-tasker, with proven capability to manage competing priorities in fast‑paced environments.
- Clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
- Results‑driven and proactive self-starter, taking full ownership of deliverables from inception through execution.
- End‑to‑end B2C campaign management experience – From applying customer insights and commercial awareness to shape briefs, to steering creative, production, delivery and reporting.
- Experience in the Automotive industry is advantageous.
