The Opportunity

The Sales Operations Specialist at Genesis sits at the center of a broad operational remit spanning sales administration, supply chain, and business fleet management. The role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of vehicle data, pricing, and budgets across the business, while maintaining the reporting cadence required to support both local decision-making and GHQ requirements.

 

From production order forecasting through to retail sales administration and fleet coordination, the role demands a strong command of end-to-end processes and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple functions. A continuous focus on operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration underpins the effectiveness of this position.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage Direct Selling, Cost of Sales, and Opex budgets across State, Store, and Head Office, tracking spend, processing requests, and supporting effective allocation.
  • Coordinate end-to-end GBV pricing, including pricing rounds, dealer requests, and full lifecycle management of supplier purchase orders.
  • Maintain daily sales trackers and produce operational reports across forecasting, month-end, carryover, finance reporting, trade-in reconciliation, and stock performance.
  • Update and manage SAP and VFACTS data (e.g. FSCs, product configurations), ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Conduct production order forecasting, analysing stock levels, aged stock, sales trends, campaigns, and new launches to meet sales targets.
  • Oversee production order submission, approvals, DSN creation, and BTO allocations to ensure accurate tracking and distribution.
  • Manage GBV vehicle order processes end-to-end, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and approvals.
  • Coordinate GBV fleet operations, including partner management, system administration, and logistics.
  • Support the Sales Ops and Go to Market (GTM) teams with any month end tasks and reports required.
  • Act as key supply chain contact for product launches, managing initial stock and demonstrator allocations.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Sales Operations.
  • 3+ years of automotive industry experience.
  • Previous experience in Sales Operations, with a track record of improving efficiency and supporting commercial outcomes.
