What You Will Do
Job Summary:
• IT security manager revolves around ensuring the protection and security of digital information within an organization
• Plays a crucial role in safeguarding an HMAP & HMID’s information systems and data.
How Will You Make An Impact
Duties and Responsibilities
• Risk Assessment and management
• Consult on risk assessments for infrastructure and applications based on threats and vulnerabilities.
• Assist in technical and forensic investigations in response to threats and incidents.
• Participate in developing and implementing solutions to mitigate or eliminate risk.
• Threat Identification and Reporting
• Identify and report recognized or potential information security threats and issues.
• Demonstrate understanding of security policies, processes, and procedures.
• Promote security awareness throughout the company.
• Security Architecture Consultations
• Assist in consultations regarding security and controls architecture.
• Evaluate the state of security and controls within control reviews.
• Technical Expertise
• Provide expertise in IT security, including active support in choosing and implementing security tools.
• Familiarity with firewalls, incident response, encryption, DMZ, IPSec, and proxy services.
What You Will Bring To The Role
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Must have at least 5 year of work experience in the same or related role as an IT security manager
• Familiarity with CISSP, CISM, and/or CISA certification requirements
